RiderScan offers motorcycle/scooter riders total blind spot visibility for the first time.

RiderScan uses a unique design with three vertical planes which give a fantastic view, including the rider which adds another dimension to the riding experience.

RiderScan has a continuous horizontal curve which gives the rider a fantastic 180 degree horizontal view into the blind spot areas. With one glance all is revealed.

RiderScan is ultra lightweight and easy to fit to most motorcycle/scooter screens. Handlebar mounting brackets are available for 7/8" and 1" handlebars also headlamp bracket mountings.

RiderScan is a scanning mirror, when mounted correctly under normal circumstances the rider at one glance will see into all the blindspot areas.

RiderScan is a scanning mirror and not to be used without final shoulder check. When a potential hazard is noticed in the RiderScan the rider should look to the hazard to get the true perspective.

RiderScan should always be used with existing side mounted mirrors.

RiderScan because of its position on the motorcycle ( within the riders forward line of view ) this makes hazards entering the blind spots much more obvious to the rider.

Motorway Riding.
Motorway use is truly fantastic as the rider sees vehicles that would ordinarily be lurking in the blind spots.
Lane changes are that much safer due to the fact a reassuring glance into the RiderScan lets the rider know if that space is clear to move in to.
Motorway slip roads are a real danger and RiderScan lessens the danger especially with other vehicles entering the motorway by giving the rider the opportunity to glance into the RiderScan whilst still looking forward.

City Riding.
Cities are best described as organised chaos for motorcycle riders. Vehicles, pedal bikes, pedestrians, buses etc all going about their own business.
RiderScan gives users the edge when negotiating round-a-bout, traffic stop signs, multi lane one way system, pedestrian crossings, junctions and the list goes on.

Rural Riding.
We hope the road is good and clear and all to see in the RiderScan is the country whizzing by but occasionally as we know there is the idiot trying to pass you for no other reason but to be in front of you, this generally happens out of the blue, at least with a RiderScan fitted to your motorcycle you will see them along side you.

General Riding.
Myself as a rider I am constantly changing my position in the road to get a better view ahead and to be seen by other vehicle especially near junctions, side roads and bends in the road.
This changing position is perceived by most car drivers as needless wondering and they will sometimes come along side leaving you no room to use road positioning.
I constantly shoulder check even though I am in my own lane when positioning.
RiderScan allows me to look forward and when repositioning I glance into my RiderScan as a safety check.
It works fantastic.

Make sure the inside of the screen is completely dust and grease free, if the screen has to be washed with warm soapy water then remove droplets and leave for several hour to be sure it is completely dry.

Locate the centre of the screen and mark with either a non indelible pen or a piece of tape to the outer side of the screen.

With the hex bolts slightly loose hold the RiderScan as low as possible against the screen above the instruments ( it is advisable to get a second person the hold RiderScan standing at the front of the motorcycle/scooter ) be careful not to cover the instrument panel and not to obstruct the steering.

Adjust the mounting pads so as to fit the curve of the screen.

Adjust RiderScan so as from the riding position the reflected image has the rider with helmet at the top of the image.

Check that this is the best position by moving the RiderScan up and down slightly to get best coverage, this should be done with the rider holding the handlebars in the riding position.

When you are satisfied with the position lightly tighten the pad adjuster hex bolts  and on the outside of the screen mark where the pads are exactly.

Remove the RiderScan from the screen, peel off the adhesive protective paper then carefully place the RiderScan against its marked position on the screen.

Firmly press the pads against the screen whilst counter pressing from the outside of the screen.
Keep pressing firmly for ten seconds then check that almost if not all the air is expelled from the bondings.

Check the reflected image is as you require then tighten the tie bar hex bolts firmly being careful not to stress the new bondings.

Stick on the eyes or blanks to the outside of the screen located over the mounting pads.

Congratulations. Ride Safe.
